The IDC 1001EMD comes with a AM/FM frequency scanner.internal MF Generator,internal antanae,internal 5w speaker and two (2) 3.5 mm audio output jacks. The Scanner and MF Generator have two seperate power supplies(4 x AA batteries) with independent on/off switches. The AM/FM Scanner has a momentary push button to start and stop the scanning session. This model has the turbo switch to speed up the scanning. This is a scanner and an EM Pump in one,you can use them one at a time or at the same time for varying results. The 3.5 mm audio outputs can be use for external speakers and/or to connect your recorder.
